We know that this is hectic time for you, so all newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home. I bring everything to you, including backdrops, props, fabrics, and swaddles. We offer three different styles of newborn photography: Posed, swaddle only, and lifestyle.
Posed newborn photos is recommended to be taken when your baby is 5 to 12 days old, when they still spend most of their time sleeping. These photos involve placing your newborn into specific poses, using the props, blankets, and backdrops of your choosing. Sessions typically last between 2 1/2 and 4 hours, to allow plenty of time for feeding and snuggles. For the safety of your newborn, experts warn parents not to attempt these types of photos without enlisting a responsible professional photographer.
In swaddle only newborn sessions, I’ll take sweet shots of your newborn wrapped up tight in a cozy soft swaddle, which I can provide. I recommend taking these photos within your baby’s first month.
Lifestyle newborn sessions are some of your very first family photos, designed to capture your everyday moments and genuine interactions. They’re authentic and candid portraits of your family’s life.
