There’s nothing I love more than helping parents welcome their newborn into the world by capturing on camera those first days with newborn photos after bringing their tiny, beautiful baby home. My session in Shawnee, KS, with the lovely Pippa was no exception. What a little darling! Check out these adorable newborn photos!
This family chose the Posed Newborn Collection. This collection involves a mix of studio-like posed shots (in their home with props I provided) and lifestyle photos with parents. I have never seen such a cute nursery! Lemon-themed to perfectly set off their sweet new arrival. Truly unique! And mom was absolutely glowing with love–I was so honored to capture her adoration for her new little Pippa on camera.
I love being part of the process to save those precious memories of a newborn’s first days at home! They grow so fast and change so quickly that within weeks it’s hard to remember how small they were.
All my newborn pictures are taken at your home, to keep these little people safe and comfortable throughout the session. I bring all the props, scheduling just one session for the day so that everything can be cleaned and sanitized.
To follow CDC guidelines, I also wear a mask and leave shoes at the door to be sure I keep your home clean and sanitary. At this time, I allow only immediate family at photo sessions, but parents can choose whether to take photos of baby only, or to include parents and/or siblings. I’m happy to be flexible with your wishes.
