WHY I DO MY NEWBORN PHOTO SESSION AT YOUR KANSAS CITY HOME
I love helping families welcome their precious new babies home. They appreciate the ease and safety of having me come to them instead of having to pack their baby around right when they’re excited to have them at home. Especially if the newborn has older siblings! Older siblings are also often more relaxed; the environment is familiar and comforting to them, so they tend to be more at ease. This makes for more magical moments as you begin to see them slowly come out of their shell within the comfort of their own home.
Even though I come to your home, don’t worry! You will still get your choice of all the cute props, just like a studio setting. While you’re waiting for the big event, you can check out my newborn photo gallery to get ideas of what your newborn photography session will look like.
SAFE, SANITARY, AND RELAXED NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
I schedule just one session at one home per day, which creates a relaxed schedule. Because, well, I’ve done this a time or two… so I allow time for changing, feeding, or waiting out that fussy moment. Running your newest family member to a studio-scheduled slot can make all of you feel stressed, out-of-sorts and hurried. For the best photo results, I want you and your newborn to feel comfortable and content.
And of course, safe. I sanitize items after each use and follow other measures to keep your home clean and sanitary, so it’s safer than going into a studio visited by multiple families and staff. At this time, I allow only immediate family members to be a part of my newborn photography sessions. As recommended by the CDC, I will also wear a mask during the entire session to help keep you and your family safe

Because I come to your home, you can choose between studio-style newborn shots and lifestyle photos that include your home and immediate family, or a mix of both. I love to tailor each newborn photo session to make it unique to your family, your home, and your baby.
