Providing services for newborn photos in Kansas City is both a beautiful and rewarding profession. I am able to help create memories for new and expectant mothers that will last a lifetime. These moments are so precious and so fleeting, it’s a relief to be able to freeze them in time.
Occasionally, I am given the honor of being able to watch a family grow before my eyes. My shoot with Kimorah Rose was an example of such a moment. I had photographed her older sister, Lanie, just a year and a half earlier. What a joy it was to be invited back into this family!
I provide in-home newborn photography, bringing all the required props and equipment so that mothers can relax and enjoy the experience. Kimorah’s mother requested I bring roses, given her child’s middle name, and the result was absolutely beautiful! The roses I brought were pink silks, which appeared incredibly lifelike and allowed for a bright and cheerful setup. What a change, as I usually gravitate toward neutral tones for my photography style. Kimorah’s shine and personality still stood out and popped amongst all that color! Kimorah’s mother was absolutely radiant with love for her family.
I always follow CDC guidelines for my sessions, so that clients can rest easy. I wear a mask for the duration of the session, leave my shoes at the door, and clean/sanitize all equipment before the session.
