After waiting years to welcome a child into the world, I met a couple who was blessed with two little miracles. Seen commonly with twins, Isla and Ace were born a few weeks early. But both were healthy and thriving. I loved being able to share the joy their parents felt as I went into their home and took their twin newborn photos.
Isla’s and Ace’s Big Debut
This twins newborn shoot would take place in the comfort of their home. In doing so, the whole family would be relaxed and the resulting photographs would be in a place they love. I put my mask on and went inside to meet Isla and Ace for the first time. New covid safety measures didn’t at all detract from my ability to capture the wonder of these two babies. First, I took pictures of the two of them together, letting their parents choose from a selection of props. Then, we separated the twins and took individual photos. This way, each baby can have his and her own memories to look back on. It was truly a wonderful experience, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!

I was born in Kansas City and have lived here most of my life, and I took up photography twelve years ago when my husband gifted me with a DSLR camera. Newborn photography is especially dear to me, and I love getting the perfect shot of your bundle of joy. I can come right to your home after you bring your baby–or babies–home. I sanitize all of my equipment and props between sessions and keep my mask on and shoes off the entire time I’m in your home, so you can trust that your babies are safe with me as their photographer.
Not pregnant yourself but know someone who is? A newborn photo shoot makes for the perfect baby shower gift. It’s unique and will be a lasting memory of those early, sleep-deprived, brain-fog-inducing days, which both the parents and child are sure to appreciate for years to come.
