One of life’s greatest joys is bringing home a newborn baby. Among some of my greatest joys is being able to capture the magic of those early days with newborn photos. I recently had the pleasure of meeting newborn Jocelyn in her home. I had photographed her older sister as a newborn as well. It brought me such joy to be able to see my Bundles families grow year after year.
Jocelyn’s Newborn Photo Session
One of the things I love most about newborn photo sessions is that these tiniest babies are usually pretty sleepy. Their families and I are able to create a variety of creative and charming poses while they snooze. Whether it’s because she’s the youngest of three (aren’t the youngest ones always able to sleep through anything?) or that she’s just a pro, Jocelyn slept soundly through the entire photo session. This gorgeous girl with her headful of beautiful black hair was a photographer’s dream. I was so delighted to help this lovely family create some of their first memories here in their new Kansas City home.

Whether your newborn is as sleepy and poseable as Jocelyn or not, rest assured, a newborn session with Bundles Photography will create beautiful, tangible reminders of these magical, early days which fade so quickly from memory. I know how chaotic, hazy, and sleepless these first weeks are, so I take care of everything, from props, swaddles, blankets, lighting equipment, and more, safely sanitized and brought to your home — all you need to do is answer the door! Sessions can include only your newborn or parents and siblings as well. We’ll work together over several hours to capture the best images so your little one is comfortable and happy (and hopefully sleepy!).
