Photography Locations

There are 2 types of photography locations for you to choose from:

Classic and Premium locations.

Classic locations do not require any additional fees for mileage or

photo permits required by the park or venue.

Premium locations require either a photography permit with fee or mileage fee due to distance.

CLASSIC LOCATION:

Bundles Photography studio

Yes! My studio! This is a great option for those who would like a cozy casual session in a lifestyle setting within our studio located in downtown Parkville just 15 northwest of downtown Kansas City. The natural lighting in here is quite magical and bright from mid morning until early afternoon! I am totally in my element here and ready to create some magic!

CLASSIC LOCATION:

Charles david Hartman

Charles David Hartman Memorial Park is located in Lee's Summit and is a great option for adventurous families who won't mind getting a little wet in the beautiful creek. If you enjoy a little exploration and splashing around, this is the perfect spot for you!

CLASSIC LOCATION:

Burr Oak Woods

Nature Center

Talk about enchanted forest feels... wow! You won't feel like you're in Kansas City with all of these beautiful tall trees. There are also fields nearby in case you'd like to change the scenery mid-way through your session. Burr Oaks has become quite a popular spot, therefore, weeknight sessions are best to avoid the crowds.

UPDATE 3/2024: There are many trees that are currently being cut down in this forest. These trees are not native to Missouri, therefore, they are dying. The forest, however, is still very beautiful despite branches and debris in the aisles.

CLASSIC LOCATION:

This is one of my favorite locations if you want that grandeur look for your photos! Every session that I have done here has been magical. You get such amazing views of downtown KC. It is best to shoot at this location on a weeknight right before sunset to avoid crowds.

CLASSIC LOCATION:

Shawnee Mission Park

Shawnee Mission Park has a beautiful hidden creek that is year-round. It also has beautiful fields and trees nearby, making your gallery more diverse in scenery. You can never go wrong with Shawnee Mission Park.

Heritage Park

Beautiful open grass fields and a lake. The blossoms are absolutely gorgeous in late spring to early summer. However, it remains a favorite once the field turns to a rich gold color in the Fall to Winter months.

CLASSIC LOCATION:

I shot here for the first time in late 2023 for a senior session and absolutely fell in love with it. It has walking trails, tall golden grass, a dock and a lake. Someone pick this one again for a family session! EEK!

CLASSIC LOCATION:

west bottoms

Best if you are wanting a casual chill urban vibe. This location is most popular for senior sessions.

CLASSIC LOCATION:

LINE CREEK TRAIL

The total length of Line Creek Trail is 8 miles, but our meeting point will have you next to a mini waterfall within 5 minutes! This is a great location for those who live in the northland and do not wish to drive too far south. We will walk to a year-round waterfall and take photos along the way!

PREMIUM LOCATION:

Overland Park Arboretum

and Botanical Garden

This location is gorgeous all year long. If you are looking for a garden with bridges, benches to cuddle on, a pond and dock to watch fish and ducks, and a small waterfall to gaze at, this is the spot for you. In late spring and summer, you will be surrounded by flowers and gorgeous plants!

The arboretum requires a photography permit fee of $50 and an entrance fee of $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 6-17, and children 5 and under are free. They also do not allow photoshoots on Saturdays and Sundays after 12pm.

PREMIUM LOCATION:

Unity Village

This gorgeous village is located just north of Lee's Summit and features a rose garden in summer months and water fountains amongst beautiful European style architecture. It never feels like you are in Kansas City when walking through this cute little village.

This location requires a $100 photography permit fee that will be collected at the time of booking.

PREMIUM LOCATION:

ROCK QUARRY IN SAVANNAH, MO

This rock quarry is about 1 hour north of Kansas City and is probably the most unique location on my list! I shot here once in 2023 and am dying to go back! This location requires a $150 fee that will be collected at the time of booking. This will cover the photography permit as well as mileage fee for driving to Savannah.

PREMIUM LOCATION:

John's greenhouse

The cutest greenhouse ever! This beautiful gem has quickly become one of my favorite locations for indoor photography. The greenhouse is heated during the winter so it's green year round and an average of 60 degrees on chilly days.

Note: summer sessions are taken in the morning, as it does get very hot on warmer days. The greenhouse requires a $100 photography fee that will be collected upon booking.

premium LOCATION:

loose Park

Loose Park has become one of the most popular locations and for good reason! This park is huge and has a variety of different sceneries to shoot at. The main rose garden is filled with beautiful roses of varying colors in the summer months centered around a large water fountain. There is also a pond with many bridges, open grass fields, and trees. It is a great choice year-round! This location requires a $25 photography permit that will be collected at the time of booking.
